004.
I have to say I'm quite disappointed that anyone would think it funny to cause such disruption during such a crucial period in our education. To play tricks on your fellow students is one thing, but to do so during such an already stressful time is quite disturbing. Really, is it not bad enough we all have to live with Peeves all year round?

Upon interviewing a significant sample of those affect, I've come to the conclusion that the source is likely crackers wrapped in white and red paper that have been set out around the castle. So if you come across them, dispose of them immediately.

I would like everyone to know that I am investigating the matter and searching for patterns that will expose the perpetator/s. If anyone has information as to who may be behind this, please let me or another authority figure know immediately. Furthermore, I sincerely hope this pranking does not become a continuing trend in this school as I would not at all be surprised if the staff of Hogwarts found it appropriate to start punishing us all as group for such behavior.

Someone else needs to monitor this discussion. I can't look at that again I'm far too busy focusing on the pranking issue, at the moment.

Indeed. Riley's attitude to breasts is appalling.

I decline. Studying for Arithmancy & Transf., so no time to follow this idiot's antics. However, must say: student body's IQ must go down aprox. 10 points every time that imbecile puts a foot in the castle. Cannot wait until they leave.

Crackers?

Yes, the crackers. I've been doing rounds to find as many as I can. They seem to be left out in random places all over the castle.

I haven't eaten anything and I still got a chipmunk voice. It's not a stray charm from the Charms class because Lucy Weasley told me she got affected too. Wizards' crackers, maybe?

I have sent a letter as well as a copy of the entry to Headmaster Flux, plus expressed my own concern that there is a lack of opportunity to receive sexual health information from more qualified sources, and inquired about the possibility of including this in Hogwarts curriculum next semester.

It reflects on the insular nature of a boarding school that one recommendation I made has created this much of a stir. I apologise for the distraction it has caused, and would recommend that since it's now in Flux's hands, we should all pay no further mind to it and return to something infinitely more worthwhile: our revision.

It's not your fault and I apologise for Riley making such an issue out of it when clearly that wasn't your intention.

I've asked him privately to re-consider some of the terminology he used in his entry that could be taken as offensive.

I appreciate your apology, but truthfully, it's not necessary. While I don't approve of his methodology, he does have a point about the lack of sex education at Hogwarts.

And thank you for your assistance. I've since received a reply from Flux and notified Mister Bexton of its contents, and I believe we can likely safely return our attention to other things now.

If it wasn't obvious that he was...

How he referred to breasts was just...

We're not all like that

It says something when I'm actually eager to turn my attention back to exams.

You actually suggested Oh, I see. I suppose that's appropriate. At least the decision will be made by the proper authorities. Hopefully the right one

I don't understand how people can even have time for such disruption this time of year. I only hope this will not happen during OWLs and NEWTs as well.

Yes, anything that I'm unsure of myself, I'm encouraged to refer to the headmaster or the head of house of the student in question, and have no problem with doing so. At least this way an understanding will be reached.

I similarly fail to understand it. Perhaps they need more homework.

And have you received an answer, if I may ask? Did you suggest this expansion as a voluntary part of the curriculum?

Yes, perhaps.

I made no suggestions, but did point out that if we were reassured that students were receiving "correct" information from elsewhere, we would not have to monitor the journalling network quite so extensively. All will be revealed on Thursday, my little friend...
